Label Printer FAQs
Why does the label printer eject
a 1-inch blank label before printing calibration labels?
This is due to the distance between the print
head and cutter mechanism and only happens if you are printing labels
less than 3-inches in length and using a 1/6 inch tape feed.
Why
doesn't the printer work with Windows NT?
The latest version of ProGAGE ISO has the latest Brother Label
Printer drivers. For the older versions, actually it does. You'll need to install the Windows
NT printer driver for the P-touch PC. Also, you'll need to download
the following 2 ProGAGE1 zip files (you must be running ProGAGE1
v2 or higher) as described below:
This update will allow you to print P-touch
calibration labels from ProGAGE1 within Windows NT. This update
assumes that you already have ProGAGE1 v2 or higher installed
and you already have the Windows NT P-touch printer driver installed.
Do the following:
1. Download and install the P-touch
Windows NT printer driver.
2. Download and unzip the app.zip file to your C:\PGWIN2
folder.
3. Download and unzip the labels.zip file to your C:\PGWIN2\REPORTS
folder.
