REQUIREMENTS 
For best performance, ProVIEW requires the following:

  • Pentium 750Mhz or faster CPU
  • 128 MB (or more) of random-access memory
  • Hard disk with 50 MB of free space for program files, plus 5-10 MB for a typical database
  • Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows XP


FEATURES
ProVIEW features are extensive, yet it remains simple to use and easy to operate. Below are some of the major features and many more can be found in the user's manual.

EQUIPMENT
· Track equipment, associated costs, histories, and failures
· Tracks current physical and storage locations
· Build failure codes to track equipment problems for trend analysis
· Setup detailed procedures to ensure consistent and thorough inspections and repairs
· Assign stores, repair shops, and vendors as location records to facilitate continual tracking of equipment as it is moved
· Powerful filtering and sorting function examines the potential for failure based on the equipment's location, maintenance technician or user defined criteria
· Automatically launches work order due report based on preset look-ahead or meter reading values
· Equipment warranty area for tracking warranty claims and expiration dates
· OEM or custom designed service and repair manual locations are tracked for quick and easy reference

· Multiple equipment drawings, diagrams or digital photographs can be stored with equipment the records for accurate identification and maintenance

WORK ORDERS AND SERVICE REQUESTS
· View comprehensive and detailed work plans, schedules, costs, labor, materials, equipment, failure analysis and related documents
· Quickly enter work and service requests on demand using validated list boxes to choose equipment and maintenance tasks
· Automatically or selectively generate work orders based on PM schedules, open service requests or on-demand
· Quickly and easily complete the maintenance work order record and close them from any PC connected to your network
· For two-step work orders that start with a Service Request, users can issue a Service Request and then supervisors can later review and convert to a Work Order
· Service Requests can be created within ProVIEW or optionally from an external Service Request Module for users that don't have access to the full version of ProVIEW
 

REPORTING
· Generate work orders based on location, technician, criticality or equipment type

INSPECTIONS

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
· Generate PM work orders on demand, batched, automatically or selectively
· Generate seasonal PM work orders for planned shutdowns
· Schedule PM based on elapsed time, time used, mileage, operating cycles or whichever comes first

SUPPLIER AND SERVICE RESOURCES
· Maintain detailed equipment manufacturer, parts suppliers, tool suppliers and service contractors to better plan and analyze maintenance operations

LABOR
· Create employee, craft, or contractor profiles
· Maintain detailed personnel files for each employee
· Track overtime history and individual pay rates
· Establish regular and overtime pay rates by craft
· Organize staff by craft, skill level and department to streamline work assignment process
· Record actual labor hours on work

CALENDARS
· Create schedules for PM with color-coded cells to indicate resource utilization and prevent overtime costs
· Calendar cells can be drilled-down to display work details, hours and other information
· Create calendar "skip dates" to prevent scheduling work on holidays, weekends, vacations or any user-defined dates

SAFETY
· Identify hazardous materials with codes and MSDS documents
· Generate tamper-evident labels using the optional label printer and special TE tape
· Prevent safety problems with lockout/tagout procedures
· Identify hazards with high-visibility signage and equipment labels using optional label printer
· Track work permits and other important documents with user-defined fields in the equipment, tasks and work order records

MAINTENANCE TASKS & JOBS
· Set up a standard task template library for re-use over and over
· Track costs by operation or job type
· Track maintenance tasks, each with its own procedures, parts, labor and tool estimates
· Easily duplicate similar tasks and jobs with "clone" function

SCHEDULING OPTIONS
· Analyze availability of tools, parts and labor resources to optimize operations
· Schedule equipment to be off-line prior to work being performed
